I’m from Jurmala, Latvia, and have lived in the United States for ten years.  Visual arts has always been my passion, and I’ve watched that grow into my mission.  I started the Art Makes You non-profit organization as a natural way for me to reach out to children who are in need of better assistance. When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m a proud mother of three young children ones who constantly keep me alert and active on a regular basis!

Originally from Ukraine, I moved to the United States a few years ago to build and raise a family here in Seattle.  I’m enjoying my life’s  journey through various forms of art (painting, illustration) accompanied by the best guides I can think of - my 4 year-old and my husband.  My motto could definitely be defined by : "Through Art to Hearts,” Art Makes You is in many ways a source of inspiration for me.  We've just begun the journey at Art Makes You, and I'm eager to see what comes next!

In everything we do, we deeply believe that these children are our future and legacy, and what we do for them can forever change our world! Will you join us?

What is Art Makes You! Art Makes You is a Seattle based non-profit focused on helping orphans and children in need by exposing them to the power of creativity through various forms of art. Who we serve We serve children in need of clothing, shelter, and educational, financial, and emotional support. We’re focused on three locations – the United States, Latvia, and Ukraine. Why Art Makes You? We believe that creativity and art have the power to help children see beyond their circumstances. We believe that by exposing them to various forms of art and supporting their creativity, we set them free to discover their unique voices. We believe with the right influence, this process sparks the beginning of a journey of fulfillment and purpose in the lives of the children we serve. Art Makes You is a combination of two passions of ours - creating Art, and helping Children.
