I’m from Jurmala, Latvia, and have lived in the United States for ten years. Visual arts has always been my passion, and I’ve watched that grow into my mission. I’m also a photographer (www.inesewestcott.com) and currently volunteer at Toys for Kids, a Seattle-based organization that gives gifts to homeless and disadvantaged children during the holidays. I will also be photographing foster children for adoption profiles in Pierce and King County. I started the Art Makes You non-profit organization as a natural way for me to reach out to children who are in need of better assistance. When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m a proud mother of three young children ones who constantly keep me alert and active on a regular basis!
Originally from Ukraine, I moved to the United States a few years ago to build and raise a family here in Seattle. I’m enjoying my life’s journey through various forms of art (painting, illustration) accompanied by the best guides I can think of - my 4 year-old and my husband. My motto could definitely be defined by : "Through Art to Hearts,” Art Makes You is in many ways a source of inspiration for me. We've just begun the journey at Art Makes You, and I'm eager to see what comes next!
In everything we do, we deeply believe that these children are our future and legacy, and what we do for them can forever change our world! Will you join us?
